Association Plant of the Year. This variety of "tickseed" is an
excellent performer with bright lemon-yellow flowers from early
through late summer. The clumps of fine, needle-like foliage on
upright stems add a fine texture to the garden or landscape; may be
less long-lived than some other perennials; sometimes late to come
up in spring so be patient. its long bloom season can be extended by
clipping to remove deadheads.
