Cuban Oregano |
|
Cuban Oregano combines
sturdiness, reliability and beauty with a versatility that brightens
up any mixed planting. Stems can be a little brittle but that
doesn't seem to be a problem; if a stem breaks off, it just acts as
a pinch and a fuller plant results. |
Blooming season: Grown
for its foliage; as with coleus, best to remove blooms to keep
plant bushy and focused on foliage production
Plant habit: Upright then spreading |
Spacing: 12-18" Height: 12-15" Exposure: full
sun to part shade
 |
Characteristics: variegated,
fragrant foliage; very heat- and drought-tolerant
Uses: beds and
borders, garden and landscape, mixed containers |
