Blooming season: spring,
summer and fall
Plant
habit: upright; Calientes and Calliopes slightly spreading.
Uses: best
in containers though can be used in-ground. |
Americanas have been
around for years, but the Calliopes and Calientes are relatively
recent introductions. They are both "interspecific" geraniums,
combining the traits of ivy geraniums with those of zonals (like
Americanas) and the resulting increased heat tolerance has given
Southern gardens new options in the geranium department. |
