Geraniums can often be a bit of a challenge once our summer heat kicks in. We have chosen varieties that are more tolerant of heat and humidity than others, but adequate fertilizer and water are still a must. A little late afternoon shade helps, too. |

Blooming season: spring, summer and fall Plant habit: upright; Calientes and Calliopes slightly spreading. Uses: best in containers though can be used in-ground. |
Americanas have been around for years, but the Calliopes and Calientes are relatively recent introductions.
