Phlox |
|
Phlox Intensias are Proven Winners varieties that
combine the genetics of prairie phlox with those of grandma's favorites.
They have received good performance marks at the UGA Trials in
successive years. They are prolific bloomers over a long season; they can tolerate heat as
well as the occasional early or late cool snap. What they cannot
tolerate is less-than-exquisite drainage. For that reason, we
recommend them primarily for mixed containers and hanging baskets.
Also, because of their somewhat gangly habit, they may not look their
best in the original pot, but once the summer heats up and their roots
spread out, their performance can be amazing. |
