A tough and durable late winter bloomer, Veronica George Blue tolerates sun, shade and neglect, rewarding the gardener with a carpet of medium-blue flowers from late February until mid-April. Named for the Republic of Georgia, near Russia where it was discovered, not our neighboring state. Foliage turns bronzy-purple in winter. |
